2018年1月23日，乌干达最年轻的国务部长——乌干达国家投资部部长Anite Evelyn一行参观辽沈工业园并指导工作，一同参观的还有乌干达扶贫项目总负责人SALEH将军，陪同参观的有来自议会议员及乌苏克县议员等。辽沈工业园董事柳明淑、禾木缘乌干达食品科技有限公司董事长关兴杰、旺康乌干达陶瓷有限公司总经理刘中和热情接待并陪同参观。
全体人员参观了辽沈工业园入驻企业禾木缘乌干达食品科技有限公司、旺康乌干达陶瓷、亚和国际玉米深加工项目及金地农业加工项目的厂房建设现场。
Anite Evelyn部长及SALEH将军参观了禾木缘食品工业有限公司的厂区和生产车间，在称赞先进的生产设备和生产工艺的同时，Anite Evelyn部长欣喜地看到了生产的每个环节都有本地员工熟练地在水果加工流水线上作业。参观结束后，考察团队品尝了新鲜出炉的果干产品，对产品的口感和品质赞不绝口。
在参观到包装车间的时候Evelyn Anite部长拿起一份刚刚包装好的芒果干，仔细阅读上面的产品信息，并激动的告诉在场的新闻工作者这个产品"Made in Uganda"。这就是辽沈工业园在“BUBU政策”上的最好体现。
在旺康乌干达陶瓷有限公司厂房建设工地，辽沈工业园董事柳明淑向Anite Evelyn部长介绍了旺康陶瓷的生产规模及发展愿景。目前厂区建设工作井井有条，预计将于2018年4月投产。旺康陶瓷投产后，日产量达4万平方米，原材料90％来自当地，可解决10,000个当地人的就业岗位。
全体人员来到亚和国际玉米深加工项目的厂房建设现场并参观了玉米收购流程和玉米加工设备。
即将新入驻园区的金地农产品加工项目的企业负责人，向Evelyn Anite部长介绍建设规划和发展愿景。

UGANDAN MINISTER APPLAUDS LIAO SHEN INDUSTRIAL PARK
The Minister of State for Finance, Planning & Economic Development in charge of Investment and Privatization Hon. Evelyn Anite has expressed appreciation to Liao Shen Industrial Park for the fast development of the factories in Liao Shen Industrial Park situated in Kapeeka, Nakaseke district.
Hon. Anite inspected the progress of Liao Shen Industrial Park on 23rd January, 2018. Up on finding impressive developments, the Minister pledged to fast track necessary support from government to facilitate swift operations of Liao Shen Industrial Park.
She promised to expedite solutions for challenges that affecting production at Liao Shen Industrial Park including, immediate availability of industrial electricity, lowering the cost of industrial water and increase supply and other related infrastructure.
While addressing the press conference, Hon. Anite said that Liao Shen Industrial Park is on the right track of Uganda’s priority concerns of job creation, import substitution and improving house hold incomes. Liao Shen Industrial Park is expected to create 15,000 direct jobs. Currently the Ho & Mu Food Technology Uganda Company Ltd dealing in mango fruit drying foe export to China has a production of 15 tons per day. The Goodwill Ceramics Uganda Company Ltd is expected to commence production in April 2018 with daily output of 40,000 square meters of tiles where 90 % of raw materials are sourced locally. The Yahe International Maize factory buys maize from local farmers around the country and processes for sale to the region. Liao Shen Industrial Park has also signed up a sesame oil producing factory that makes agro processing a priority in their investments. This is the focal point for Operation Wealth Creation.

Peter Ogwang, the Member of Parliament Usuk county and Ms. Liu Ming Shu the Director of Liao Shen Industrial Park together with Mr. Guan Xing Jie, the Managing Director Ho & Mu Food Technology Uganda Company Ltd and Mr. Liu Zhong He the General Manager Goodwill Ceramics Uganda Company Ltd attended the tour.
