2018年1月21日，来自苏丹投资考察团到访乌干达，考察辽沈工业园投资合作项目。辽沈工业园董事柳明淑、禾木缘乌干达食品科技有限公司董事长关兴杰热情接待并陪同参观。
全体人员参观了辽沈工业园入驻企业禾木缘乌干达食品科技有限公司果干生产厂房、旺康乌干达陶瓷有限公司厂房建设工地。
在参观禾木缘食品公司期间，禾木缘食品公司董事长关兴杰向考察团介绍了公司发展历程、组织架构和人员情况。同时对当前乌干达市场形势下所面临的问题作出了分析并就公司2018年度的产品、市场、发展现状做了详细介绍。关兴杰董事长邀请考察团品尝了新出炉的芒果干和菠萝干，考察图对产品的口感和品质赞不绝口,称赞其先进的生产设备和生产工艺。
在旺康乌干达陶瓷有限公司厂房建设工地，辽沈工业园董事柳明淑向考察团介绍了旺康陶瓷的生产规模及发展愿景。目前厂区建设工作井井有条，在今年的4月份即将投入生产。
考察团受乌干达扶贫项目总负责人SALEH将军亲自邀请到其府邸举行招商工作会谈。会谈中，考察团非常认真听取和探讨工业园的相关政策，对于辽沈工业园的发展规划给予肯定，同时对辽沈工业园为乌干达当地经济发展所发挥的积极促进作用表示充分认可，辽沈工业园将充分利用乌干达物产、土地、矿产、区位及东非共同体及南部非洲发展共同体的政策优势，将带动乌干达相关产业链发展。考察团表示，对辽沈工业园的投资前景看好，将会告知更多合作伙伴组织考察队伍来工业园实地考察。
SUDANESE BUSINESS DELEGATION SEEK TO INVEST IN LIAO SHEN INDUSTRIAL PARK
The Uganda Liao Shen Industrial Park in Kapeeka has picked popular attraction for investors intending to invest in Uganda. Several officials of Uganda Government and Private Sector have routinely visited the industrial park almost on daily basis for benchmarking purposes.
With the normalization of relations between Uganda and Sudan, H.E President Omar Al – Bashil, of the Republic of Sudan while he paid a visit to his counterpart H.E President Yoweri Museveni of the Republic of Uganda early 2017, the two leaders agreed on mutual cooperation including establishments of investments in Uganda.
In the spirit of concrete implementation of the agreements between their Excellencies; President Museveni and President Omar Al – Bashil, several business delegation exchanges from Sudan to Uganda have taken place.
On Sunday, 21st January, 2018, a private business delegation from Abbarci Petroleum Marketing Company and Wales Company dealing in Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Agro processing of fresh fruits for export to Sudan and the region met with Ms. Liu Ming Shu, the Director of Liao Shen Industrial Park to discuss business cooperation. The meeting was facilitated by Ambassador Joseph Ocwet and attended by Ms. Ann Babihuga from the Department of Regional Economic Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uganda. The delegation also met General Caleb Akandwanaho, the Chief Coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation.
